Q: where can i find a vacuum diagram for a chevy silverado 2007?
i got a 2007 chevy silverado with a trouble code sayin i have a possible vaccum leak

A: If it's a vacuum leak you don't need a diagram. But if you want one, just go to a car lot, test drive the truck and take pictures of the motor. Your best bet would be to check everything that has vacuum and try to find where the air is getting in. listen for the sound of air moving, it will be a high whistle. you can also spray WD40 on anyplace you suspect a leak while the engine is running and see ifg the motor speeds up or slows down, either one would indicate that the fluid entered the motor.

Q: How big of tires can I put on my stock 2007 chevy silverado?
2007 chevy silverado lt 4x4 (new body style)

A: Measure the diameter of your stock tire and wheel combo... Now keep this info in mind when you read the following info; Rule of thumb, you can go one size up and one size down at the same time safely. The first number relates the distance from the center of the tire tread to the bead (where the tire mates to the wheel) in millimeters. The second number relates to the profile ratio of the tire, that being the height of the tire from the wheel to it's width. Thus, you have moved to a larger tire, but it has a shorter sidewall, so you have a wider tread on the ground but the total diameter is essentially unchanged (the diameter is critical in a modern car with a computer controlled transmission. NEVER alter the diameter significantly!). Thus, you have moved ahead. HOWEVER, since the new tire is wider, there is a chance of clearance issues in the front. Park the car, turn the steering wheel all the way in both directions, and check for clearance problems. If the tire is rubbing anywhere in this situation, you may have made a mistake. More tread on the ground is usually good, but clearance issues can be a real problem. Thus, the rule of thumb: one size up and one size down. Never consider more than this. Does this help any?

Q: I have a 2007 Chevy Silverado with 56,000 Miles and would like to know what could I find information about the?
manufacturer warranty? As well what does it cover? I have a rattling catalytic converter that seems to get worst? Is there any way to find out about any recalls for this model of truck it is the Chevy Classic 4.3 liter engine? Anybody?

A: There are no open recalls on the cat convertor or exhaust system for that make/model. Gm has a 8year/80,000 mile warranty on the PCM and Cat Convertor. If your cat is rattling, it should be covered no problem. If you call your local dealer with the VIN number they can verify, but as long as there is no branded title or blocked warranty (totaled car) you should be in the clear. You just have to take it to the dealer to verify it is a cat, then it will get covered. Thank you.

Q: would the 2007 chevy silverado stock rims fit on a 2004 chevy silverado?
I'm gonna travel where my 22" rims would be difficult to handle and I'm wanting to buy some stock rims to use instead, these ones come from a 2007 chevy silverado, would they fin on my truck??? thank you!! oops! I meant *FIT* thank you Jimney!

A: As long as they both have the same amount of lug nuts, then yes.

Q: How much does it cost to put a GM navigation system in a 2007 Chevy Silverado?
The truck has the standard LTZ radio, but I want to put in a navigation. About how much would this cost? I only want the official GM one and nothing else. What will the total cost for everything be?

A: more than you would get for selling your left nut. Best bet is to get an aftermarket nav system from Tom Tom or Garmin. It will be portable, better, and probably 1/4 the price I have this http://www.amazon.com/TomTom-GO-Widescreen-Bluetooth-Refurbished/dp/B001OAOUN8/ref=sr_1_19?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1241388298&sr=1-19 or any of teh Garmin Nuvi's are great as well To answer your question though I would bet on around $1,200 to $1,500 to install it aftertermarket

Q: What can i do too get better performance out of my 2007 chevy silverado?
Im looking to get some morehorse and torgue for when im out playin... i bought a the 4.8 liter crew cab version because of the high gas prices now; that prices have came down id like to get a bit more horsepower out of the 4.8.thanks

A: There are many add-ons to make more power, but lets face it..you're still only going to have a 4.8L. I found the easiest way is the performance exhaust and air filter. If you want to spend the money, you can buy a good aftermarket programmer, that will plug right into the data link connector under tha dash. It depends how much money you want to spend. You could always purchase a new truck with the 5.3L that has active fuel management which cuts it down to 4 cyl under light throttle.GM is really trying to make deals now!!

Q: Would a under-the-seat subwoofer system for a 2007 chevy silverado fit in a 2004?
I know that in between 2006 and 07 models, the body style was changed so i am not sure if it would fit?

A: dunno measure it....

Q: 2007 Chevy Silverado will start for 1-2 seconds and shutoff. Mydoor locks windows and interior lights are inop?

A: sounds like to me Electric trouble the locks and interior are mst like a fuse most time they are on the same fuse.. the ruining for 1 or 2 sec may be in the key switch i have seen this happen. it will run the fuel pump in start but not in run.. their could be a lot of different things to cause this. filter plug low fuel pump pressure. need to let a shop look at it to find out for sure what it could be.
