A: A 604 HEMI with fuel injection anb 2- 1/8 inch ceramic headers feeding into a Magnaflow exhaust system. That sure would sound good to me. LOL
Q: how do i take off a dashboard in a 2002 dodge ram 1500 quad cab?
i have a 2002 dodge ram 1500 quad cab. the gauges in the dash stopped working, lights on it stopped working, turn signals dont work, wipers dont work, break lights dont work, door locks dont work, interior light dont work. everything else works fine. does anybody know whats wrong?
A: pop it off it has clips. then once you got that off the gauges should have screws take it off then look for any burnt wires or check the circuit. but before anything check your fuses. might have a short somewhere or grounding out.
Q: How can you fix tail lights for 2002 Dodge Ram?
I have no tail lights on my 2002 Dodge Ram 1500... I've replaced fuses, bulbs, and even one of the tail light lightbars to see if it worked, and still nothing. My brake lights, backup lights, and blinkers work, just no tail lights. Any advice would be helpful!
checked to see if there was any power at the fuse and there is none... also noticed that the front park lights don't turn on either.... this SUCKS!
A: did you check back through the wiring harness for power when the light switch is on and see if there's power going back towards the rear of the truck,when i got my 01 model it had trailer hitch on it an it had no tail lights at all and what had happened was the wire burnt in to going back in the harness because someone had wired it wrong for the trailer it had pulled,that or a bad light switch or a relay will cause that too happen,if you got a repair manual on it look though it for the wire that runs the tail lights and tap in to it and see if there's power on it when the light switch is on,good luck.
Q: 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 squeaking in rear axle when i accelerate and brake?
I own a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 with about 120000 miles on it. Lately when I accelerate from a stop i hear a squeaking noise coming from either the rear axle or the rear brakes that stops once i get up to speed. It also happens when i brake and when i coast at about 20-25 mph. Any suggestions as to what this could be? and if you do know than is it something that I could fix on my own? thanks!
A: Sounds like a U joint or wheel bearing best get checked out or U may get stranded.Wheel bearing step on brakes while powering and if the squeak clears up wheel bearing.

A: Chrysler system are sealed you cant pull the chip and replace it like a Chevy. What you need is a programmer, I suggest Hypertech and Diablo. Also you want to see real gains with that programer get a cold air intake kit and cat back system
Q: 2002 dodge ram getting hot when driving not at idle?
On 2002 dodge ram 1500 with 4.7 liter engine. Changed thermostat coolant [2 times] and fan clutch. Idling in yard temp is normal. once going down road truck slowly starts to get hot. water flowing good and radiator clean. Also bleed air from system a couple times. Do have a little leak around cap spout and also relaced cap.
A: you might need to do a an engine flush to that one to completely clean all the junk from it i got an 04 model in the other day that was running hot like yours and the problem was a sludge build up in th block ,you may also have a water pump getting ready to go out, even though its not leaking any the blades on it will get worn and cause this to happen,the faster you drive the faster the coolant needs to circulate and it cant do this with a bad water pump on it,good luck.
Q: Biggest tires i can clear on 2002 dodge ram 1500?
Looking to get mud or all terrain tries on my 2002 dodge ram 1500 with stock suspension. Thinking about 295/70/17R. But not sure if tires will clear without a lift. im going to put a 2" leveling kit on the front.

I have an 02 Ram and I want to put the stock stereo with integrated nav from an 05 Ram in it. Is it the same wiring harness? Will it work?
A: the wire harness is the same, only the factory nav. has a VSS wire in the harness and since i dont think the nav was an option on your 02 it shouldnt be there. it may just change the accuracy a little but not by much. but yeah, the harness and antenna adapters are the same, as long as the radios both are the kind with the knobs sticking out of the sides.

A: yes ,but they,ll be a difference in the wiring harness on it and also on the bolt pattern,if it had a 4.7 in it,you didn't say what engine it has to start with,but with enough money and time it wil work,good luck.
Q: What instrument cluster will work for a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500?
My check engine light doesn't work and it has to come on when you turn the key back in order for me to pass emissions. Checked the fuses and they were all fine. I was told it could be my instrument cluster. I found a 2003 cluster for a good price...does anyone know if this would work for a 2002 model? Does it matter if I have 4wd or power windows? Also, does anyone know if the mileage is programmed in the cluster or in my truck? Thank you!
A: on a 2002 model if you changed the dash out you,d have to change the ecm also so what id do is pull the dash out and check the bulb for it and also check the connections real good,chances are it doesn't need an instrument panel if all that doesn't work is the check engine light,i have seen many cases where the cel light would stay on for so long that it would burn the bulb out for it,if everything else works id try replacing the bulb first on it,and why you got it out look for any burnt spots on th back of the dash panel they was bad to burn a circuit out and cause that too happen to it,you may need a good magnifying glass to check it with ,but that's still cheaper than replacing the instrument panel and the ecm on it,and the mileage is programmed in to the ecm unit and the instrument panel,good luck.

A: you have to drop the pan of the transmission and you,ll see a bunch of solenoids and sensors in it,get a repair manual on it because the one your looking for will be above the valve body on it,and be extra careful with the wiring in the transmission it breaks real easy sometimes,sometimes just changing the fluid and filter will correct this problem,good luck.
