i know someone with a dealers license that's going to purchase it for me i just need to know how much that car will cost
im not buying the car from a dealer. im buying it from a dealer auction. hes just gonna go with me because he has the dealer license
A: depends on how many miles how the body is and so forth has it been in any accidents and the dealer does not want to deal with it
Q: can someone give me an idea of how much car insurance is for a mazda 6, 2006 honda civic sedan, or coupe?
I'm getting my car soon, but i don't want make a decision until i get an idea of how much the insurance on these cars are.
Thanks!
A: Prices vary depending on car value, location etc. But between $60 and the sky, depending on many factors, EG: who owns the car.
To get a more precise price simply go to an insurance site, fill a form, hit a button and you'll get your price.
This is where I go to http://www.autoinsuranceproviders.esuperfind.com?id=xy-1oN0v-o9
or even http://autoinsurance.guidearticles.com/ins.php?id=xy-1oN0v-o9
They are similar sites in that you just input your details and they'll search around amongst main insurance carriers and then they'll give you multiple results.
Each of those two will search for different insurers so by spending a little time you get to have a fairly wide price spectrum, I think they cover about 20 carriers between the them. It's all free so you might as well use them.
Q: Has Anybody installed in dash navigation system to a 2006 Honda civic Sedan?
I bought my civic in late August last year (2006) After 7 mos. I think it is ok to make some adjustments to it. (you know rims, tint and such) so I am thinking of installing a navigation system with a Ipod connection. (i didn't get the navigation when i bought it) So i was wondering if it was easy. If it takes too long and how much does something like that cost?? Another thing. Is there a monthly cost to having navi? Or is it "once you have it, that's it"
A: If I were you I'd look for a reputable dealer and installer, this is a new car and you don't want to screw anything up if you don't know what you are doing. As far as monthly cost, no, there is none. Check out this site, they will recommend a dealer for you when you order from them.

Q: do you think its okay to fit a 1500watt subwoofer in the boot of a 2006 honda civic?
I love to fit a subwoofer because the stock speakers are crap
will this void the new car's warranty
A: As what mike said, you will have to take it to a registered business and get them to fit it, that way the warranty is still in tact
Q: Installing a Sirius radio for a 2006 Honda Civic?
I just bought a Civic and I'm trying to figure out the best place to run the antenna wire and other cords so that they're not out in the open. Please help.
A: run them into the trunk. you can hide the wires and antenna cord though the side carpet near the doors.
Q: What is bulb I need for fog lights on a 2006 Honda Civic 2 door? H11?
I want the lights to be slightly fluorescent, but not extremely. I do not want to blind other drivers. Just something to make the car look more sporty in the night and increase visibility. Hopefully under $100. H11? Thanks
A: I used the motor cycle bulbs for my 1993 Civic over the H4 standards. The wattage was increased from 50/65 to 80/100. You will need to increase the wire and connector boot. The higher amperage draw with the brights on will slowly melt it. The bulb was an excat oem size. I picked up new repalcement connectors, and two relays. I put it in for under $40.
Q: Can anyone tell me how much they paid for a 2006 Honda Civic 2-door EX model?
How much did they come down from the sticker price?
A: The short answer is $950, but short answers are rarely good enough for me.
First, go to Edmunds' website (1st link below) and use the TMV (total market value) number it generates to see what other people in your reigion are paying for the exact same car. Aim to beat this number, and you'll know you did well. In my case, I paid $18000 vs. a TMV of $18,595 vs. $18,950 for the sticker with destination fee and mud flaps in the EX 5-speed manual version.
Then, in case they're not hitting the number you're looking for, be familiar with the dealer-installed options (see second link below) so that you can take the "I guess I could pay that if you threw in the..." stance. I think good candidates are the leather-wrapped steering wheel, the foglights, the XM radio, the iPod adaptor that goes in the glove box, a cd changer, or the auto day/night mirror woth compass. In my case, they got me to a number I didn't feel as though I needed to mess with, but if there'd been an accessory I really wanted, I'd have asked for it at dealer cost at that point, and probably would have gotten it.
I went, on purpose, about 15 minutes after the dealership opened on a Saturday morning so I could hit them fresh out of a sales rally, the dealership was still empty, and they were hot to sell. It was also the last Saturday of the month, so the whole department was trying their hardest.
I had already done all the test-driving and comparison shopping I needed to. I called ahead for a "purchase appointment" with the salesman who had shown me the car. He knew he had a sale if he got me a good price, especially when I got dropped off for the appointment and would need a car to get home (although I was prepared to pull my phone out of my pocket and walk away if things didn't work out).
Remember that the Civic sells itself in terms of quality and economy, so this is very different than buying, say, a Buick. There's a reason you never see a rebate offer on a Civic.
Good luck with your purchase! I haven't had even a twinge of buyers' remorse with this car...you picked a good one. I highly recommend this car in the 5-speed manual transission if you're fortunate enough to find one.
Q: Hi to all, I have a problem about my 2006 honda civic, everytime i brake i always hear watery grinding noise?
Dose anybody know whats the problem? I also went to Honda dealer but they said everything looks fine. But I still hear the problem everyday. : (
A: it may the type of brake shoe used, if it is semi metallic you will get that noise....i used them and can't wait to change it now its annoying to say the least.
Q: How do you replace the battery in a 2006 Honda Civic? There's a large cord above the battery blocking its exit?

Get a good look at this 'cord', it's really a hold down clamp and is easily removed.
"BRILLIANT"!!!!
Q: Does a 2006+ Honda Civic last a long time?
I'm looking to buy a 2006+ Honda Civic for my next car and wanted to know how long they usually last. Also, if you have one of these model years, what are the pros and cons?
A: Honda's are known to be a very reliable & dependable, and also known if you change oil every reccomended 3,000 miles thety can typically last 220,000 miles or more, Honda engine have lasted 300,000 miles before and averaging that up if you drive less then 10k miles per year. You to can have a car that will last 20+ years.
Q: what could this plastic part be? looks like a part to the intake of my stock 2006 honda civic si?

A: hmmmm plastic part on 06 Civic.................could be anything
Q: Can you fit a baby seat in a 2006 Honda Civic Coupe?
My boyfriend is buying a car and I'm trying to convince him to get something practical for having children. He wants to get a 2006 Honda Civic Coupe. I'm not sure that will be big enough for kids, much less taking a baby seat in and out of.
Will this car work?
What do you think we should get?
A: That fact that it is a Civic alone makes it practical for having children. That just means you spend less money on repairs and more money on your child. And if your child ever needs to get to the hospital fast for an emergency you can just hit VTEC(Very Terrifying Expediting Contraption) and get there faster than the Millenium Falcon could, even when the Falcon is running at full lightspeed capabilites.
Q: Does the foctory CD player on a 2006 Honda Civic EX play MP3 CDs?
I'm buying on in another city and i want to fly there and do a drive back with the car. it's a 2006 (dunno if the year makes a difference) and i'm going to need a solid amount of music. I want to burn a MP3 cd for the drive but i don't know if the car will play it? Any one know?
A: From my knowledge the EX models are suppose to come capable of the option but I would call and ask the seller if they see the MP3 logo above the CD insert slot.
