Q: What is the depreciation rate of this 2008 Honda Accord (in %)?
I need to figure out the depreciation rate of a used car. My equation of the Honda Accord on my scatterplot is y=22,392.04 - 1,798.15X The Maximum of the car is: $22,988 for a 2008 car. The minimum is: $5,950 I have no idea how to figure out the percentage rate for depreciation?

A: 9.8%

Q: when is the honda accord 2008 releasing ?
By that i mean this one http://www.caranddriver.com/carnews/12140/2008-honda-accord-coupe-concept.html is it coming out later this year ?

A: Typically speaking the 2008's for honda's will probably debut around October. It's gonna be a HOT car, if you're interested in buying one, i'd contact your local honda dealer when the time gets closer towards the middle of summer and see if they are taking deposits and have a wait list. We still do on our Fit's and CR-V's....I imagine the Accord will be the same way!

Q: if anyone has the 2008 honda Accord with Navigation how do you set a primary Phone for the bluetooth?
like we have 3 people that will use a bluetooth phone with it and everytime we get in the car our phone is set to discovery mode, but to use a new phone each time you have to keep pairing it. so how can i set it to automaticly go to one phone? i have to keep setting it up, can't it just automaticly find the phone? this is very hard to explain. i hope you can understand thanks

A: you can pair up to six cell phones and save that pairing,... click the talk button and say next phone. that will link you to the next phone saved into the system

Q: hi i want to get the 2008 honda accord v6 rims on to my 03 accord v6, does anyone know the price of the rims?
ye i want the honda rims, 18 inch rims, the ones from the 2007 accord v6 ex. u have any clue wt its worth?

A: here is a good website on how much it cost without the tires but you can also order the tire with the wheels too. http://www.cheaphondaparts.com/products.php?cat=144, you will probably look up to $1200, or just go to your local auto junk yard and find one there in good condition in a good shape. good luck.

Q: To anyone who has bought or test drove the new 2008 Honda Accord Sedan?
I love the looks of this car. I want something comfortable to ride in. I am picky with seats but I cannot afford the leather seats in the Accord. Are the cloth seats just as comfortable? Would you guys recommend this car as my first new car? I am looking at getting the EX Sedan because it has more options than the base but its still priced under $25,000 which is my limit

A: Theres not much of a differance between leather and cloth. The cloth is still very stylish and comfortable. Cloth at times could be even better because it doesn't get really hot in warm weather. And the accord is a great buy. I bought the 08 Accord coupe myself and it was my first new car. Theres nothing like having a car and knowing you were the first person to ever purchase that car.

Q: What is up with the 2008 Honda Accord only getting between 21-31 mpg? It is a 4 cylinder.?
I thought it would get better gas mileage. Does anyone know what they realistically average?

A: Because the Honda Accord get fat over the years which I mean weigh. Before, it was classified as a compact car in the 70s and late 80s and then a Mid-size car in Early1990s as the Fourth generation Accord. The accord back then was really light and small and had only a 4 cylinder engine, and no 6 cylinder engine was available until the mid-90s. Today the accord went form a ford focus to a Buick Park Avenue which I mean in size. The accord today has more power, is more faster and has more technology which adds more weigh to the car and now is classified as Full-size car by the U.S. EPA). So that's why Honda Accord only gettings between 21-31 mpg Because it got heavy that's why. Hope this answers your question.

Q: What kind of customization should I get on my new 2008 Honda Accord coupe with black exterior and interior.?
I am thinking about some nice black rims and they are 18" rims and a spoiler and stuff. and anything you have in mind. thanx.

A: Leave it stock. It looks better that way.

Q: Why is the 2008 Honda Accord Sedan so ugly, and the coupe so nice?
I completely understand that the coupe version of cars are normally more aestically pleasing, but its like night and day. The sedan is ghastly while the coupe rivals the sexiest of new coupes ( G6 Coupe, Altima Coupe). @Hugh, I was speaking solely of the exterior of the G6 Coupe.

A: haha yes it is. why i dunno but the sedan is ugly. actually the only thing that looks good to me is the coupes back end. front on both are ugly and its just so wierd how in the world did they come up with that design.

Q: Are the 2008 Honda Accord Sedan headlight in US same as in Japan?
I was wondering are the headlights in Japan the same as in the US model. im mainly focusing on the reflectors of the car. because in Japan they have standard HIDs on them and i was wondering why the US version doesnt if they are the same, and could i add them and would they be same as the japan ones.

A: Yes

Q: Putting Hid Headlights on my 2008 Honda Accord Sedan??? Would it get me pulled over?
I want to install Hid Headlights on my 2008 Honda Accord Sedan. The problem is I am not sure if it is total legal. I've seen other cars have them and they look so cool. I found some on e-bay for around $70. But I think my headlight projector is really not designed for it. It would be to bright and might blind incoming drivers.

A: Pulled Over???? You should worry more about if the wiring system in your car can handle it!!!!!!!! I work at a dealer and I have seen so many cars come in within the last few years that have melted wiring and headlamp connectors due to the installation of these bulbs. Now I am not completely educated on the difference between one HID bulb to the other(I guess I dont get quite as excited about bulbs as some) but I have also seen some with zero problems---Educate yourself before buying them it could save you some money in the long run!!!GOOD LUCK!

Q: Air filter for my 2008 honda accord sedan. I live in a dusty area and I have to change my air filter alot.?
I have to change my air filter every 6 months. I usually buy wix or the factory filtech honda air filters. Both of these brands last the same amount of time. Should I invest in a KN air filter? Or should I stick with the Filtech or Wix air filter.

A: K&N gives you slightly more airflow, the price you pay is it does not filter as well. In a dusty area I would stick with what you are using now.

Q: Having trouble with my auxiliary output in 2008 Honda Accord?
Recently I was driving listening to my BlackBerry radio and noticing that it started going in and out. At first, I thought the speaker was busted then I played around a little bit and noticed that the auxiliary cord was not working correctly. Has anyone had any trouble with this because I need to know if it's something wrong with the outlet or the cord itself. Thanks.

A: u probably have a cheap cord. or the jack on teh blackberry is not touching fully. apply wd-40 to the connections or electrical lithium grease- home depot or radio shack.

Q: Average auction price for 2008 Honda Accord?
At car auctions these days, what would be the average price of a 2008 Honda Accord (4 doors, beige leather interior) ..... Could anyone familiar with current car auctions give me an average?

A: 12000

Q: My brakes have been making a high pitched squealing noise in my 2008 Honda Accord.?
My car only has 33,000 miles on it. Could the brake area be dirty from brake dust? Or does the brake pads need to be changed?

A: Typically, if it's just brake dust it will only happen once in a while, or after it rains for some reason. If they're squealing EVERY time, you should probably get them checked. Depending on how you drive and your typical braking patterns, they could wear down a lot faster than the average driver. Take it to a mechanic to have them checked, they'll be able to let you know if both sets need to be changed, or any at all. Even if they don't change them they'll be able to clean them if it is the brake dust.

Q: Is running a synthetic oil like mobil 1 better than regular honda oil in my 2008 honda accord.?
My honda accord sedan has the 2.4 I-vtec engine.

A: Yes. Synthetic oil is superior in every way to mineral-based crap in every way, except for cost. Your engine should last alot longer on good synthetic oil, assuming that you change it when it gets dirty, instead of trying to go for 10,000+ miles like some synthetics claim.
