A: President doesn't answer warranty questions. You need to go through customer service. Start with your local dealer or check the Toyota of Philippines website for a customer service phone number.
Q: How much do you think a Toyota RAV4 Black with 30k miles would cost after a lease is complete?
How much do you guys think a rav4 would cost after a lease is complete ? How low do you think a toyota dealership would go? It's a 2007.
A: Look on your lease contract. It will show you what the residual value of the truck will be. It isn't up to the dealer to set a selling price on it. Its up to the lessor. Your best bet is to call the lessor before your lease is up and see if they will negotiate anything at all on it. 99.9% of the time, the answer is no.

Q: What is a ballpark estimate of how much it would cost to rebuild a 93 Toyota Pickup Truck engine?
I know this answer depends on a lot of things, but I need my 93 Toyota's engine to be rebuilt. I have a little time because my current one has a knot in it so it drives, but it'll get worse as time goes by. I want to ideally have this done by a shop in the winter sometime.
A: If a shop does it, it could cost upwards of 1500 dollars, because of the gross labor costs involved.
I'm planning on re-building a Vortec 350 in winter/ spring, but am upgrading to a stroker 383 kit, which, with a full rebuild set, comes out to around 900 dollars.
A straight up factory engine rebuild kit averages from 350-900 depending on engine size/ parts availabilities/ popularity of the engine involved.
There's a lot of time in re-building an engine, time needing a skilled laborer to put in, so the real cost is in labor, as I said.
Q: What is the maximum horsepower and torque can you apply to a Toyota Celica GT-S?
If I were really trying to get it fast. If you put a Supercharger in a Toyota Celica GT-S, how much more horsepower are you looking at? Stay on the main question too. After making it as fast as you can with all the tricks and everything, how much can you possibly put into a Toyota Celica GT-S?
A: Depends on how much money you have, really. No one can give you an exact number, but for the most part you don't want to put too much horsepower in a Front Wheel Drive car because it will torque steer like crazy and would pretty much be useless for day to day driving as well as racing.
I'm sure after spending $30,000 or so on a professional turbocharger, engine tune, and other stuff, you can get 600 bhp from a Toyota 4-cylinder.
But if you are hardcore, you should do something like Tanner Foust's Scion tC. Convert the car to rear wheel drive and stick a TRD NASCAR Camry engine in it.
Again, it's all up to the amount of money you have.
Q: What is the best way to sell a used toyota, with expired registration?
My friend was ill and went back to Europe, leaving me his old toyota camry. The registration expired in August, and I have not filled in the title or notified DMV, as I thought that is done when I sell the car. Do I have any problem in selling it with the expired tags, and is there any law regarding the time frame, or can I just turn over the car to the buyer and fill in the date when I sell it?
A: Legally if you never made the change, it isn't your car to sell. But if your friend just signed the seller's spot and didn't date it, and you didn't put your name on it anywhere, you can probably get by with just handing the signed title to the buyer. If he did date it, and more than 30 days have gone by there could be some penalties to pay. Of course the buyer can't drive it until he gets the tags up to date, legally, but you have no power to stop him drom driving it away once you have the cash...so...
Q: How much does Toyota pay it's technicians or automechanics?
I was wondering if anyone knows how much an entry-level mechanic makes at a california Toyota dealership and what's the maximum $$ can make you make with experience or with seniority? Also, do they get paid by the job or the hour?
Appreciate any answer.
A: It depends. I work for the Toyota Service department. Are you certified? Do you want to start as a lube tech? If you are starting as a lube tech its an hourly wage around $10.00 per hour. As far as the certified technicians, they get paid based on hours of labor for a job. For example, if you are a certified technician and work for a great service advisor/writer, you will get larger jobs and make great money. Of coure the more senior techs are paid more. Pay range about 60K, most senior tech here makes about 100k. Check out the Toyota school www.t-ten.com it will put you in the right path.
Q: How much should it cost to change the transmission fluid in a 2000 Toyota 4-Runner? How about the Fuel Injecti
Our 2000 Toyota 4-Runner needs the 120,000 mile service. The Toyota dealership is trying to charge like $500. I'm trying to figure out the cost of the different services and decide which ones I actually need to do.
A: I perform fuel injection cleanings and transmission fluid and filter changes on a regular basis. Although I think $500 is way too high, I also think some of the prices being provided to have both professionally done are unrealistic. If you are going to have the transmission service done, do it right and clean out the pan, the magnet and replace the filter. I have seen chunks and globs of sand-like goop come out of pans and filters. Also you get what you pay for with fuel injection cleaning. I have the rather expensive equipment to do the job right at the rail with a concentrated cleaner, under pressure and disabling the fuel injection system. I have performed these services on 4 Runners and they use Banjo bolts at the rails and few, if any, cheap setups will ever be able to attach to the rail.
My advice is get the transmission service done properly and wait on the fuel injection cleaning. $150-$200 is not unrealistic to the have the transmission service done properly. The actual labor time to do the complete transmission service is 2.8 hours because it is not as simple as some would have you believe. More importantly, make sure the correct ATF fluid is used if you go to an independent. Toyota has a specific fluid (Toyota Type T-IV) that should be used. There is also a TSB (TC001-02) about it. Most times there is a difference between having a job performed cheap or having it performed properly. I hope this helps.

Q: What is a toyota common key and a smart key?
What is the difference between a toyota common key and a smart key? I read a smart key is anything with a chip, but others say that a 4D transponder key with no remote functions is a common key and a smart key involves remote start up or unlocking doors. Is that correct thank you.
A: A smart key is one that you do not have to take out of your pocket. It looks like a remote and it does have remote functions such as door lock and unlock. When you approach the car with a smart key in your pocket, the car and key have already talked. If the car recognizes the key it will allow you to open the locked door when you grab the handle. When you get inside the car the car knows that it has a registered key inside of it and you can push the start button and drive away. All of this without taking the key out of your pocket or purse. There is a regular key that can be removed from the smart key in case of battery failure etc. A "chip" key is not a smart key. Toyota calls a chip key an immobilizer key. It looks like a regular key. What it does is when you put it into the ignition the car talks to a chip inside of the key. If the car does not recognize the chip the car will not start even though the key will turn in the lock.
Q: How do I get to be a distributor for Toyota or Honda parts?
The problem I faced with my cars revealed how difficult it is to obtain geniune Toyota/honda part. I want to have a dealership in this line of business.
A: I don't think you want to handle toyota parts as the way there going they will be out of business in the future.
